We start planning a new management program, which is addressed to ophthalmic laboratories, with integrated lens calculation. The most modern graphic interfaces, offered by the innovative Microsoft systems, allow to create a graphically advanced system, easy to use, highly scalable to support the growth and development of the laboratory. The unique interface thus allows the integration of machines of different brands, after calculating and optimizing the lenses with the Idysnet program.

RXLAB is presented for the first time, the only integrated software for ophthalmic laboratories supported by the Windows system. Some new features are introduced, such as the surfacing charts, which make it easier for operators to calculate monofocal, bifocal, progressive, aspherical lenticular lenses.
In the same year, Idysnet realizes the first envelope for laser printer. Thanks to this, the laboratory can print, together with the order data, also its own logo or the customer’s logo.

Idysnet develops the revolutionary customer order entry program, which allows you to type data on a line of free text without having to be forced to insert them in preset fields , as happens in the normal data entry forms of our competitors.

DATALINK is born, a software that allows opticians to order lenses directly from ophthalmic laboratories via modem.
The optician can thus manage the personal data of his patients, the visit card, the digital price list of the laboratory, the the order entry, the acquisition of the shapes using a graphic tablet for calculating the thicknesses and for pre-calibration.

The software is enhanced by the management of transport documents, invoices and sales price lists, making a further step towards the automation of orders.

In addition to the creation of the first Transport Documents, Idysnet produces the first invoices in digital format and the RXP digital price list. In addition, a new version of the programs is presented that exploits the powerful Microsoft SQL database.

The integrated software is implemented with a new form for deposits and branches. Idysnet is among the first companies in Italy to use the Citrix infrastructure.

The possibility of integrating the 3D view for lens calculation is proposed.

Idysnet interfaces the first MEI cutter for cutting ophthalmic lenses and at the same time prepares a powerful assembly management program perfectly integrated with customer orders, which allows you to put orders in work from a PC with all the useful cutting parameters for the machine. All the cutting data are thus historicized together with the order data for possible remakes.

Evolution Web is born: a new system that allows you to send from remote opticians, orders for the construction of lenses in pairs, assembly and other, directly to the laboratories of construction of the lenses, thanks to the Cloud technology.
The project was made possible thanks to the contribution of the Veneto Region and was awarded at the SMAU 2014.

After having produced millions of lenses in the world, today the traditional calculation system has been almost entirely replaced by the LDS Free Form. Idysnet currently dialogues with all the major LDS manufacturers that are always driven by our RXLAB infrastructure.
